I love the shake to Genie’s voice in the first gif, how Robin Williams got so much emotion into just two little words had my heart going out to this guy when I was a little girl. He’s been a Genie since forever, always answering to a master, granting wishes he no doubt regrets granting but he had no power to deny anyone anything in his entire life. Now he’s finally free and he can say no and it feels so damn good.

Though I find it stupid in the sequels he has the gold bands back. Didn’t Disney pay attention? They were his restraints, they were his cuffs. Why bring them back at all.

Derp.
